Before sending your camera for service, please review our FAQs and instructions on the support page. Many issues can be resolved without sending the device for repair.
You can also contact technical support to confirm whether the device is defective or if the issue is caused by, for example, settings, power supply, or the SD card.
Service of Burrel cameras under warranty
Burrel cameras include a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date the product is first sold to the end customer.
In some cases, the retailer may provide a longer warranty period.
However, the service process is determined based on the age of the device:
- Cameras less than 12 months old should be sent to Burrel warranty service
- Cameras older than 12 months should be sent to our service partner (Pihlatek Oy), even if the product is still covered by the retailer’s warranty. Contact details can be found in the section Out-of-warranty service in this article.

How to send the device for service
A service request must always be completed before sending the device for service.
Step 1. Fill in the service request form
- Complete the service request carefully and follow the instructions.
- If you are using an external power source (mains power, battery, or solar panel), or if you have previously contacted Burrel technical support regarding the same issue, include this information in the description field.
Please include:- information about the use of an external power source
- the possible support request number
This will help speed up the processing time.
Note:
The service request form is not available in Norway or the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania). If you are located in one of these countries, please contact technical support to receive further instructions.
- After submitting the service request, you will receive by email:
- a service number
- a shipping label in a separate message
- If you do not receive the shipping label, check your spam folder.
- If the shipping label is missing or you experience any issues, please contact technical support.
Step 2. Prepare the device for service
- Leave the SD card and SIM card inside the device.
- Also leave any batteries in the device.
This allows the service team to test the device as thoroughly as possible.
Step 3. Send the device
- Use the shipping label you received by email and follow the provided instructions.

- The warranty period for accessories used with Burrel cameras, such as rechargeable batteries and solar panels, is stated on the product packaging.
- For warranty cases related to accessories, please fill in the service request form and follow the instructions. If needed, you can contact technical support for further assistance.
