What is Burrel+?

Burrel+ is a cloud service compatible with camera models Burrel S12 HD + SMS PRO (manufactured after Sep 2021) and S22WA. For these camera models, you can choose to upload photos and videos in real time to Burrel+ media gallery. You can also adjust camera settings remotely in Burrel+. The Burrel+ app can be downloaded from App Store or Google Play. More information about the service can be found at web site burrelplus.com.

 

Does my camera support Burrel+ or not?

If your camera is Burrel S12 HD + SMS PRO (manufactured after Sep 2021) or S22WA, you have the possibility to use Burrel+. For other camera models, it is not currently possible to use Burrel+. 

 

You can also check the Quick-setup guide, which comes together with the camera in the sales package, if your camera supports Burrel+ or not. If you see the Burrel ID on a sticker on the front page of that Quick-setup guide, your camera supports Burrel+. 

 

Note! If you do not know the model of your camera, you can find this out on the sticker found on your camera. Its' location varies depending on the camera model. E.g. on S12 HD + SMS PRO camera, the sticker can be found at the top of the camera when it is open. First on the sticker is mentioned the model of the camera, eg. S378E followed by the camera itself in parentheses (eg. S12HD+SMS PRO).

How I can bring Burrel+ into use?

To start using Burrel+, you will need:

  1. A camera supporting Burrel+. Your camera must be either S12 HD + SMS PRO manufactured after Sep 2021 or S22WA
  2. A Burrel ID
  3. To create a Burrel+ account on website burrelplus.com or Burrel+ app
  4. To add your camera to your Burrel+ account when you're logged in to Burrel+

 

Where can I get camera Burrel ID? 

Burrel ID comes with camera models supporting Burrel+ (Burrel S12 HD+SMS PRO and S22W) when purchasing the camera. The Burrel ID can only be found on the sticker on the cover of the Quick-setup guide. Burrel ID is in the form of XXX-XXX-XXX and unique to each camera. 

 

Note! Burrel ID can not be displayed from Burrel+ nor camera

 

Burrel ID is lost or forgotten

Since each camera that supports Burrel+ has its' unique Burrel ID, which is created during the camera’s manufacturing phase, Burrel support does not  have access to camera ID's for security reasons. By creating a Support request, we can track down the camera's Burrel ID. If you create a ticket to Burrel Support about Burrel ID, please enter the camera's IMEI code and attach camera’s purchase receipt. Without a proof of purchase and camera’s IMEI, our administrator will not be able to track down the camera's Burrel ID. The same guidance also applies to buyers of used cameras who do not know camera's Burrel ID. 

 

Note! You can find camera’s 15-digit unique IMEI code:

  • SMS PRO: Put your camera in SETUP-mode -> Menu -> System -submenu -> Information : Enter -> OK
  • S22WA: Put your camera in ON-mode -> Menu -> System -submenu -> Information: Enter -> OK
  • In email if you have choosed "Send To" to email in camera's settings 
  • On a sticker in some cameras

 

I can't add my camera to Burrel+! 

Please check the following:

  • Did you spell Burrel ID correctly? In particular, O (big o-letter) and 0 (number zero) or I (big i-letter) or 1 (number one) can easily be mixed up
  • Has the camera already been added to another user account (email) before? Currently, the camera can only be added for one user at a time. Before you can add a camera for a second time, you must first remove the camera from that account it has been first added to

 

Note! If you delete the camera from your Burrel+ account, please notice that all photos and videos for that particular camera in Burrel+ will be deleted and can’t be recovered. 

 

How do I get photos from my camera to Burrel+?

If your camera do not appear in Burrel+, do the following:

  1. Add your camera with Burrel ID to Burrel+ by using Burrel+ app or web site burrelplus.com
  2. SMS PRO: Put the camera in SETUP mode and wait until it connects to the mobile network. When the camera displays the Operator, the camera is connected to network.
    S22WA: Put the camera in the ON position and wait until it connects to the mobile network. When the cameradisplays the Operator, the camera is connected to network.
  3. Change the camera reception method to Burrel+. Press the MENU > go to the Wireless-submenu -> using the arrow key downwards, select "Send to" and press the arrow to the right that it says "Burrel+". Finally, press OK (save)
  4. Save the settings made to Burrel+ by selecting "UpLoad Settings" on the same Wireless sub menu

 

If your camera do appear in Burrel+, do the following:

  1. Change the camera reception method to Burrel+
    SMS PRO: Put the camera in SETUP mode
    S22WA: Put the camera in ON mode
  2. Press the MENU -> go to the Wireless-submenu -> using the arrow key downwards, select "Send to" and press the arrow to the right that it says "Burrel+". Finally, press OK (save)
  3. Save the settings made to Burrel+ by selecting "UpLoad Settings" on the same Wireless-submenu

 

Finally, try taking a test photo:

SMS PRO: Put the camera in SETUP mode and wait until the camera has found the network (operator and network strength are displayed at the top of the screen) and settings -> press OK and the camera will manually take a picture and asks "Send picture?" -> Press OK and the camera will send the image to the Burrel+ gallery

 

S22WA: Put the camera in ON mode and wait until the camera has found the network (operator and network strength are displayed at the top of the screen) and settings -> press  OK and the camera will manually take a picture and asks "Send picture?" -> Press OK and  the camera will send the image to the Burrel+ gallery

 

Note! If the test image doesn't appear in Burrel+, please check your camera for the following settings:

  • Wireless-sub menu ->
  • SendMode : Instant
  • SendTo: Burrel+
  • ImageQuality: VGA640x480

If you do any changes in your camera's setting, remeber to save them by selecting "UpLoad Settings" on "Wirless”-sub menu. Finally try to send the test image again.

If you still find problems in getting photos, you can always create a request to Burrel Support 


Preservation of files in Burrel+

Pictures and videos remains in Burrel+ for the time being. They are not being automatically removed from Burrel+ after a certain period of time.

 

Camera’s removal from Burrel+

E.g. if the camera is sold, it must be removed from the Burrel+ account to which the camera has been added. Otherwise, the new camera owner will not be able to use Burrel+ with that particular camera. 

 

To remove a camera from Burrel+:

Sign up to Burrel+ using either the app or the website -> Select "Your profile" which can be found between “Home” and “Sign out” buttons  -> press the red trash can -button to remove the camera 

 

If you have troubles removing the camera, you can always create a request to Burrel Support


Note! If you delete the camera from your Burrel+ account, please notice that all photos and videos for that particular camera in Burrel+ will be deleted and can’t be recovered. 

 

Before handing over the camera, we recommend you to reset the camera to the default settings (can be found on System-submenu). Also remember to hand over the Quick-setup guide with Burrel ID on to the new holder of the camera.

 

Deleting Burrel+ account

If you want to delete your account, please create a request to Burrel Support.
