Burrel AC adapter guide and warnings

These instructions and warnings are for the Burrel 12 Volt and 6 Volt AC Adapter. 


Intended use

Burrel 6 Volt or 12 Volt AC adapter is intended to use only with compatible Burrel cameras.

Before purchasing and connecting  AC adapter to your camera, make sure that the output voltage of the adapter matchest the voltage printed next to the cameras power port or power port cover. 


  1. Connect the adapter to an power outlet with the correct input voltage (see specifications below). 
  2. Remove the rubber or plastic cap on the cameras power port. The power port can usually be located at the bottom of the camera. 
  3. Connect the other end of the power adapters cord to the cameras power port. The camera will now receive power directly from the AC adapter and can be turned on.


Note! Incorrect voltage can damage the camera and the charger.

Warnings

  • Do not modify, pull, bend forcibly, or take other actions that may damage the power cord of the AC adapter.
  • Do not place heavy objects on the AC adapter.
  • Do not connect or disconnect the adapter with wet hands.
  • Do not use extension cords or multi-socket power strips with the device.
  • Do not coil or knot the AC adapter cord.
  • Connect the adapter securely to the power outlet.
  • Disconnect the adapter completely from the power outlet during thunderstorms.
  • Install the device near a power outlet and leave enough space around the power adapter so that it can be easily disconnected in an emergency.
  • If you connect this device to a power outlet with multiple slots, do not use the other slots to connect other devices.
  • This AC adapter is intended for indoor use only!
