What should I do if the Burrel ID or Device ID doesn't work?

If you are trying to register a camera to the Burrel app using its Burrel ID or Device ID, and it fails, check the following:


  • Was the ID possibly typed incorrectly?
    Make sure the ID has been entered correctly. Pay special attention if it contains O (capital letter O), 0 (zero), I (capital letter I), or 1 (one) — these can be easily confused.

  • Does the camera already have an owner?
    Each camera can have only one owner, so it can only be registered once and to a single user account. 
    • Make sure you are logged in to the Burrel app with the same user account that the camera was originally registered to. 
    • If you intend to use the app simultaneously on, for example, a phone and a tablet, make sure to use the same user account on both devices.


If needed, create a support request to Burrel technical support. Be sure to include the camera’s IMEI code in your request — otherwise, we won’t be able to assist you.
