This article shortly explains how to set up the camera to function only as a recording device, meaning that the camera's sending function is not used at all.
If you want to use the camera for recording only, not for transmitting photos or videos, make sure to disable the following camera settings:
The camera has a SIM card:
Menu -> Wireless submenu -> SendMode : Off
The camera has NOT a SIM card:
Menu -> Wireless submenu ->
SendMode : Off
SMS Control : Off
When using the camera purely for recording purposes, the photos and/or videos caputured by the camera can be viewed later from the SD card.
Note! For the camera to work, it still needs an SD card according to the recommendations. You can find more information about the SD card here.
