Burrel app (Android) – staying logged in issue

We have received reports regarding an issue affecting Android devices. The Burrel app is repeatedly logging some users out.



Try this first
The issue can often be resolved by clearing the app data and reinstalling the app:

  1. Open your device's Settings
  2. Go to Apps → select Burrel
  3. Select Storage → tap Clear data and Clear cache
  4. Uninstall the Burrel app from your device
  5. Reinstall the app from the Google Play Store
  6. Sign in with your existing credentials



If the issue persists after reinstalling
We have observed that the issue continues for some individual users even after reinstalling the app. We are aware of the problem and our team is investigating. As this is a rare issue affecting individual devices, identifying the root cause has been challenging.


We are unable to provide an estimate of when or how the issue will be resolved at this time. The fix will eventually come either through an app update or a change in our backend systems. We apologise for the inconvenience.



Alternative way to use Burrel in the meantime
The Burrel web browser version is working normally. You can access it at: app.burrelcameras.com. Sign in using your existing credentials. Please note that the browser version does not send push notifications to your phone for new images.


Please note that this issue affects individual Android devices only (phones and tablets). The same issue has not been observed in the iOS version.
